Dropout Lyrics

Paul Blest Dropout

Anywhere but this room right now is the place I want to be.
A false sense of entitlement, the world doesn't owe you a goddamn thing.
You said can we talk? I need some f..cking space, I need to be able to breathe.
And I don't mean the glass windows you've been throwing rocks through since last spring.

I've got a feeling that this year has been hell, and it's all for nothing.
So what if we drop out now? I never felt like I belonged.

I've been writing the same song for four years now
Just with different words, four different chords, and different sounds.
With our luck we'll be wallowing in the mud until we head south for the winter.
Away from the place that keeps holding us back and taking everything.

I've got a feeling that this year has been hell, and it's all for nothing.
So what if we drop out now? I never felt like I belonged.
