the old punks are disheartened.
They fell out of love with this scene.
It didn't give shit back to them.
After a decade of this I'd fall out of love with anything.
California's gonna sink.
but we're just going to fade away.
our heroes might as well be ghosts
and the legends only live on with the lifers.
and if greed is good than we're all going to hell
and if our hearts are pure well than i guess we'll just bore ourselves to death.
i'll still see this place in my dreams, and these winters on my skin.
and when i tell this story i won't know where to begin.
the truth is that my bike
hasn't seen the road in years.
and these old wounds bruise easily.
come to think of it they never really healed.
