i've got a date with fear and loathing, it's in my hometown.
love lost, youth wasted, in the shadow of an empty house.
i heard birds in the morning introducing me to spring.
in the early hours after the longest winter that i've ever seen

i'm looking forward to april, where another year will have passed
without me making any use of the wisdom that came from the last.
i spend money and time on music, that's meant the most to me.
then attempting to replicate, then questioning everything.

when will we, find answers to questions that plague us so
will i ever, find direction? because i'm f..cking lost and i hate it so much

it could have been a lot worse, we could have died last night.
and become a monument on this roadside.
but instead we're here, young dumb and lost in thought.
i don't know when i'll go but i hope that it's not too soon.
