What I do brings shame or embarrass

So the merit of your judgment is minimal
Compared to the substance of this individual
‘Cuz man’s measured not only by his potential
What’s essential’s the motive of his actions
Slick liars slip when they’re seeking traction
Because the truth is their hell is frozen over
And everyday is exponentially colder
While the sun shines on my mind and my passions
And the rations to bask in are plentiful
Between eventual torrential downpours
That’s what the samples and sequential sound’s for
Emancipation from life’s precipitation

Despite abject horror and destruction
And other functions of self-preservation

And the willingness to fight for its existence
In the absence of instant gratification
Resistance is an active participant
‘Cuz progress requires a true counterpart
