Just cracking the shell
One layer at a time
A hermit for quite an extended spell
Finally shedding my external shell
Like a kernel popped on a stop through hell
I spit infernos and bump like Braille
Trumping meek chumps and weak prose
Bypass foes with high blast radius flows
Worldwide impact started with the crack of a speaker cabinet
Once enacted
It goes and can’t be redacted
These explosive improvised plosives
Dealt in lethal doses
Put posers deep under dirt where they fertilize roses
Stuck in a state of stasis
On the wrong side of osmosis
Looking at the mental oasis
Filled by the few with the knowledge that predates Moses
But I suppose that’s outside your purview
Babe and the suckling up past curfew
Prey to the ones that seek to pervert you
Tweak and desert you
Weak with no virtue
The leaches hurt the inert who allow it
Knowing that they won’t do a damn thing about it
See me suffer that fate I doubt it
Identify bullshit quick and reroute it
Or simply remove self from it
On a quest toward a self-defined summit
I’ve seen many plummet
Give from the soul in the pit of their stomach
And get nothing from it
But the truth is voids aren’t filled
With hollow pursuits of shit that ain’t real
So don’t follow suit
