My soul glories in Yahweh.
Let the humble hear and rejoice.
Proclaim the greatness of Yahweh,
and together extol His name. (**)
I seek Him, and He answers;
He frees me from my fears.
Every face turned to Him grows brighter,
and is never ever ashamed. (**)
A cry goes up from the poor man;
Yahweh hears and eases his pain.
His angels settle around them
who fear Him and He keeps them safe. (**)
