Broken and beaten, left by those I love.
A heart-shaped pendant hits the floor.
Doubled over, coughing blood,
all goes black in this sanguine sea.
I'm tearing apart from the inside,
my heart is ripping at the seams.
Stitches unravel, and coil at my feet.
Now that I'm dying, I don't want the disease.
Heat flares at the edges, wounds burn from the tears...
As all hope is lost, shadows appear.
The flesh is caressed, a needle injected.
Four hands sew the damage, the degradation of years.
