35th & Hazel, the bar had no one in it. Her mom was working late, she cleaned another plate. Always very quick to throw a quip of something clever to be listening, but for some reason could never feel at home anywhere. Marched up the stairs, held the hands of her book and pen, began to write every word that came to mind.
