An empty bottle writes these letters from my soul. It says, "I can't go on like this," it says, "I can't go home again". When every ounce of me is screaming out your name, take it for all that it's worth. You always taught me how to be a better man. "Do as I say, not as I do". But when you threw away your life for what you thought was best, thank you for taking us down with you. You know, I never repaid you for that. Now that I'm older, I've seen what you've done. Your selfishness has lead to your grave, and your silence is killing us both. We're both starving, but in different ways. I'd do anything for you, and you know that. I just wish that you knew who you were, 'cause I have no idea who I am, and I'm begging you to come hold my hand. I'm not ready to give up, I'm not strong enough to do this. Why can't you see right through this facade of lies. Compromise - what is that word? It's not something I'm used to.
