Eschaton Eulogy For The Hollow
Staring blankly back
lying dormant
under it’s own shadow
concealed and slowly corroding
solitary waiting
the cries turning from pity
into anger
shrouded in sorrow
numb to the truth
blinding with pale eyes
the mask no longer the liar
selfish honesty slowly dies
Expulsion, false sanctity,
calling back the blind,
injuring, endlessly,
unrest in a wounded mind
