Worth Waking Lyrics

Conspire Worth Waking

He was a man my age, his society enforcing an idea. He feels like he's under attack all the time. He didn't have to fight. But we have to navigate through the lies, creating the borders of a nation, and whether you realize it or not, we're all being trained for it. You can be enslaved to a thought long enough to forget you can leave. You don't have to live with that guilt, you don't owe it anything. I'm waking from your dream. Alive there are no masters and the clouds keep moving faster. I won't say it again; I swear to God I won't say it again. You're already rich so calm down; you're already rich to me. Don't you feel like your life's just good enough for now, we're losing everything. I am a traitor. Inside of every single one of us another one is waiting. We must evolve towards peace. ‘Cause no one ever stood in crosshairs over any good thing humanity has brought here. We have a choice to stop feeding this machine. May each of us in duty hang our weapons up. May all our institutions turn their gazes up towards feeding, and healing, and tracing greed back to the source. Turning our backs on what we have could be the greatest thing we've ever done
