Oh! A piece of me is exposed
and the wolves begin to circle for their feast in the
snow.
I stay afloat
and hope that I can remain on this tightrope walk
between the worlds of failure and fame.
Lately I’ve been trapped in this deep hole,
climbing up but I can’t seem to keep a hold.
I’m so much stronger now.
I’m so much stronger and I’ve found that I do better
when I’m burning out.
So weigh down on me,
you want to count on me to light the fire in your eyes
so you can finally see.
I’ve found the safest place to live outside of my head
is on a stage in front of faces that I’ll never forget.

I want to know what’s life like down on your knees
and did you ever peek up through your hands at what you
could be.

You see, you were scared but I would gladly risk it all
for a chance to succeed, a chance to finally be
everything I’ve dream.
