There's a sheet coloured pink
Deceiving you to think
That the workings of the hive
Is the goal to which we strive
Lend a thought to the one who's set to fail
Because of notions gone stale
Do not spit on the ashamed
Don't be the one to claim
That being numb and tamed
Was a choice they made
For they wished not for the stocks
They need no reins or locks
Your truth is not the one

When calamity ahead
Haunts children in their beds
When eagles close their eyes
And dare not see the mice
Standing up to the mirror on the wall
Is a pain as the image will fall

Accepted but inane
Does not equal being sane
