Anthony Narvaez Falling Out
this morning settles over me
the stars and I were out all night
but they’ve all sunk into the sky
and left a sunrise twice as bright
close my eyes and learn to breathe
and everything will be alright
when darkness collides with the day
it helps me understand the light
I watch the sky so I can’t see
the ground falling out from under me
the city burns a hole in me
it feels like time is spread so thin
so I'll cast out across the stars
where life is waiting to begin
it puts things in perspective
when my veins run with fire
