the air outside is getting colder
and the autumn skies are turning grey
but while I lay here next to you
all the seasons seem to fade away
it’s so hard to pay attention
when I have you right here in my arms
and it seems that I always lose focus, on the seasons
because you are beautiful and I can’t concentrate
all the leaves are slowly changing
it’s all very wonderful, or so they say
but me, I don’t hardly notice
cause I can’t concentrate on this magnificent day
you’re so distracting
that I don’t even notice
the cool autumn breeze
or the sunset, on the horizon
or all of the red falling leaves
because you are so beautiful
