Long before we sat so high and mighty,There were others
with a vision not short-sighted.
But we listened to the papers and the media master,
Mankind travelling faster.
Faster is a virus that clouds the judgement,
I'm sick of staring at the letter waiting to be sent.
To dig a deeper hole... is not the solution.
I can't make a move and still I hold my tongue.

I didn't expect the knife when my back was turned.

Why won't they listen, when we ask them so politely?
What would it take for some of us to just get heard?
I want to ask them knowing only that it's too late.
I wonder if it's worth forming the words.
