If who I am is where I’ve been
Then you’ve seen the world
But realize soon that you’ve been visiting
From the confines of this dirty hotel
To a bedroom, inside of a home
It only takes love, to build this sanctuary

I want to find love that is not temporary
So build a frame, add the porch, lock the windows,
Sweep the floor,
The house you created just locked love out the door
Does a war need weapons to cause a wound?
Because I can’t stop this bleeding in this house on my own
The bullets hit my skin, but are deflected by my heart
