Sun kissed eyelashes and a bag full of tricks
Timid enticer with truth you transfix
Spellbinding children and bored homeless drifters
They cautiously gather tugging at sleeves
The spark sets them swaying, grinning and clapping
Caught up in the same breath that's shifting the leaves
Skimming over park benches and into the street
Fly, fly, sweet little songbird
With your chipped nail polish and you words to the wise
Call, call, everyone’s someone
With a heart that craves dancing and a wish in their eye
