Twelve Hour Turn The Dream Of Youth
1,000 things writeen. 1,000 things unfinished. if we
could only hold a note in the back of our throats, we
have been choking up the days. and thinking back on the
things we've said please forgive the words i've shed,
yet, i do believe things were misread. 1,000 things
forgotten. where did all of the time go? where did all of
our friends go? did they grow up? did they go home? i
think they're growing homes and everyone conversation is
a phone. i could hear it in the distance, often you
wonder if you've ever had it right. unending preparation
now. the starting point is hard to tell, was a long time
ago, is far out of sight. in a life this size, the
difference between 12 hours and 12 years becomes quite
unclear. along with who you once were and who you were
supposed to be. for your loved ones swallowed you whole.
constant spills and refills, pathetic pleas and bad
pills. when i was younger i wanted you here, as i grew
older i did still. so along the way mistakes were made.
just adjust, change, and trade. all of this unto you and
into you. with all you i'm afraid still, i feel as i did.
