Ocean's Lullaby Lyrics

Transit Poetry Ocean's Lullaby

Someone told the waves to collapse
While we were swimming underneath
Water filled our lungs and throats
In panic caught we tried to breathe

The waves they murmured gentle songs
Of dream worlds, joy and liberty
An ancient, timeless lullaby
For the lovers of infinity

Bridge:
And so I follow the swans
Through the timeless stream
Into a paradise of thought
Where imaginations do redeem

Chorus:
Sing with me the ocean's lullaby
When water fills your lung and mind
Follow the ocean's sweetest cry
To leave a liquid world behind

Someone told the waves to stroke
the lonely swimmers on their back
Greed and hunger turned to us
To gather for the great attack

While we were struggling for our lives
Waters sang a weeping melody
and turned flesh to earth at noon
A creation for the ones who see…
