I Shift my weight and turn the corner
as I blindly hurtle forward.
I let momentum take control
a reaction sparks but I'm falling down.
Only to land at the water's edge
the current is strong I'm not built for this but
curiosity has me beat.
Escape is all that is rushing through my head.
I follow rockets shot into the sky.
I will no longer be confined.
So this is what it's like to dream,
an endless quest for vitality.
Push the boundaries of possibility
then give me every chance to be unique.
In this search for truth show me what it is to be alive.
They've abandoned this relic of science,
progression of mechanical mind.
I'm more than fabricated personality,
the archetype of just how high they can climb.
A slave to logic I'm aware of the odds.
I'm only metal and could never be more,
