Thy Primordial Amongst The Chosen Lost
Certain I was amongst the chosen lost
I watched myself slowly dwindle
Where gates stood open, I the threshold crossed
With a withheld breath in pain and ecstasy
I felt the blood throb to death until
I heard distant voices wishing to console
I saw demons watchful and angels blind
Assenting yet resigned
What my recollections stole
Is a past unwritten

When the light withdrew I no more suffered
For in the dazzling dark my spirit stirred
But still I questioned
For my inward sight still knew the senses
And the senses tracks
Is there an answer for this solid quest
