It could make me wanna sit down and cry, ev´rything we
´ll ever be has to
die, ev´rything we ever were is dead, I cannot believe
what I´ve had. It
could make me wanna turn around, I don´t wanna be lost
and not found,
ev´rything that I lose, it just turns me upside down.
Whatever I did on the
way to becoming myself, here, today, all the skins that
I shed like a snake
have gone astray. I could not be me, I could not feel
me, ´cause I realize
I can´t be just what I used to be. If I could only
bring it back forever,

You don´t know just what it means to me, I could never
go back to be the way I used to be - believe me - deep
inside I think it´s killing me I could live I could
die, I could pray I could try to be me, but i can´t be
me !
I remember me as a child, now my phantasies running
wild, like a smell or a taste from the past, this
reminds me of me. Ev´rything that I used to do, I was
so small, ev´rything was new, I never knew, what I´d
grow up into. I remember the fear and the pain, I
remember the joy just the same, I remember myself like
a friend from days gone by. I could not be me, I could
not feel me,´cause I realize I can´t be just what
I used to be. If I could only bring it back forever...

I tried and tried to ease the pain, but now I´m gone
and I cannot come home
again. Where´s the little boy, that I used to be, of ev
´rything that I´ve
lost I never wanted to lose me, use me up like a
battery-pack, I never
wanted to leave, but now I can´t come back, I never
felt it before, but I
feel it here today, I wanna make it stay... but the
memories fade away !
