It happened just as I was thinking that I've seen it

White clouds were resting peacefully
Then a dark veil shrouds me
Something was happening up above
The burning circle in the sky surrendered
Obstructed by the shield of black canvas
A fear that I can't define bursts internally
Darkness descends as I shiver inside
Day into night in the glimpse of an eye
Light as I know torn asunder
As if the blood in my veins got darker
A sight to behold no matter how much I fear...
Will the circle burn again?
Or is this haunting chill here to remain?
Begging for something I can't comprehend
Not knowing the consequences of my end
Never again should I witness such a travesty
Crushed by the wrath of the powers that be
