Stars cut out of silver dollars
Thrown across a colored sky
They must be eternities away
But it always fools my eye
To know a star so long ago is grasping for infinity
They say that life is limited as if it breathes and dies with me
Just particles of desert dunes, lost by a careless hand
A window web of shattered glass melting back into the sand
It's infinite
We left our souls out to burn
Growing old with each falling sun
Our thoughts explode ‘til the world stops it’s turn
‘til we're deaf to everyone, deaf to everyone
I must have been still in mourning
For the melancholic night
The moment ends, left only to our memories
When all the people hide behind those city lights.
