He joined the army
Went to the battlefield!

He learned how to kill a man
He stood straight in line
For being a child there was no time
He never saw his parents again
In spite of his childhood, he became a man
In his little hands, he carried a weapon
Ready to use it - no matter what would happen
He saw blood, corpses and brutality
He wished to, but he could not flee
His master told him: YOU HAVE TO OBEY!
His mind was controlled in every single way

But he can never forget what he saw
He is free now, but the price was high

The pictures of war are burned into his mind
He feels like the murderer of the whole mankind
He's struggling with his memories
It captured him like a fatal disease
Will the ghosts ever leave his head?
Or will they be his fellows until he's dead?
How many children will have to suffer from the same fate?
Is there still hope?
