He Is More (peace And Light) Lyrics

How much can you hold in a manger?

What can fit in a bed so small?

Is there room for this boy

And heaven sized joy

Can it cradle the hope of us all?

Stables were never designed for

The Lord of the Universe

No barn could contain

The glory that came

Or the grace that would blanket the earth

He is more, oh he’s more

Than Bethlehem was ready for

Peace and light, joy and truth and love

Peace and light, and joy and truth and love

Endless overflow from God above

Peace and light, joy and truth and love

How can my heart host a Savior

Life is crowded and far too full

But the mercy he brings

Bursts all the seams

Creating a space in my soul

He is more, oh he’s more

Than we could ever thank him for

Chorus

Unto us is born

Unto us is given

Christ the Son of God

Gift that never ends

Chorus
