Rust Belt Lights Awake In Dreams
This is me.
This is what I need.
The road beneath my feet,
a new city to see.

All the lonesome night drives under these highway lights.
Each one is a reminder of why we’re alive.
Just crossed the next state line. There’s so much more to life.
This eight hour drive is my next nine to five.
And I know that when I go back home,

Home is where the heart is or so I’m told.
If that’s the fact, I left my heart back on the open road.
Where trying to sleep is like pulling teeth to me.
