Here I lay upon my dying pillow
Round my bed I see those tear dimmed eyes
They are watching the saddest thing that can happen
They are seeing a sinner as he dies
As death's cold shadows hover o'er me
To old sinners I plead with my last breath
Don't shun the Word of God that's what I've done

No one knows until they have to face it
Just how bad a sinner's death can be
I am facing it now as I live over
