From a pauper to a praiser, ever since I met my savior
From a man whose blind that suddenly can see
From a taker to a giver, from a creek bed to a river
That is flowing out from deep inside of me
I was a pauper now a praiser I will be
I spent my time planning how to store up all my wealth
Somehow I convinced me it was all about myself
I didn't mind who I was grieving as long as I was just receiving
Till He showed me that I lived in poverty
But when I gave it up, I could see

I guess the word “abundance†I never really understood
Till the Holy Spirit showed it, I was poor but didn't know it

I stepped out in faith and I went from

To be the Lord's disciple you must give up all your rights
I know that their not easy to release without a fight
But if you really want your freedom, turn them loose cause you won't need ‘em
I know that seems hard to understand, But Jesus always has a better plan
