I joined the gang in summertime
My dreams alive upon that very day
We started on the road ahead
smiles abound and music all around
We played from heart each and every time
Notes that rose right up into the sky
The crowd they stood and cheered away
Our faces glowed and friends they were here to stay
Feels like I’m waking for the first time
Numb limbs come to life
Now I hope it’s time for me to shine

Everything gets turned around
when people try and stand their separate ground
The three man show keeps them alive
The others strive to hold their heads up high
The crowd they jumped and screamed away
