Reasoning A Musing Dream
Poseidon I defy, took his son's only eye
who only ever made heavy weather for me and my kind
Sent me to the Isle - and all the while
One hundered and eight parasites feed on my estate
In ten years time you wil see the day of my return
I'll be on my way
Over the seas and out of the storm
I build the horse that ended the war and I swore
I would find my way back home.
In Hades it was said that I spoke with the dead
Forgotten heroes - fathers of fathers - showed me the
way to tread
Down the Styx and back - the sky turned black
Something is wrong with the sound of the sirens's song
As a beggar I come
In disguise from the ones who would see my end
I'll be on my way
A stranger I've become I have travelled far and wide
upon this journey
Battles fought and conquests won, the decade lingers
long
No promise made in vain
I'll defend her to the death forever-after
Five score and eight to take my place
