Political Asylum Symptom
Like you and I, they feel pain
But man has the right to kill and maim
Destruction of life for which we’re meant to care
But you can block it out as if it just wasn’t there
Forever and always we act like this
Oppression of man is one step away
We stand spectating self-suicide
A symptom of sick society
Animals suffer, your pleasure their pain
But you look upon their plight with no disdain
Down the supermarket trolley in hand
There is no need to understand
Mother Nature sings to me
A simple song of harmony
Where all her children live in liberty
But there’s no escape, they all must go
Cos meat’s a necessity of life, you know
