Pink Razors Blackout Detective
Armed with only a travel mug and a walkman
I set out to find the car I'd left behind
last night--not knowing exactly where it was.
It was a cold day, I thought the walk would
clear my head but soon remembered, that's
exactly what I fear the most. Gave me one
more reason to stay here. There are blocks
I can't walk down anymore, there are ghosts
on every corner---I know exactly who they are.
There are things we can't talk about anymore,
secrets in every greeting--I don't know
exactly what to do. As sure as the sun causes
crime, things will hear up, bake until it's
burnt, one of us may have to leave--I don't
know who I'd rather it be.
