Dreaming Dreams Instead Lyrics

Sometimes I get lost at night

Around that time where the stars lose their light

I don't wanna think about what I seen today

Even though to you my thoughts are outta sight

Don't listen to the words they say

It's part of the plan

There's something in the way now

You gotta know where you stand

Just don't lose yourself

In this mind trick you play (mind trick you play)

It's only when you watching it

That you gonna know where it stays

If only you could go back to the start

Well you're dreaming dreams instead

So it'll be alright, Yeah

Mmm

I gotta get out to run

To leave behind

Oh it's on my mind when the picture states the score

I don't wanna see it anymore

But what does this stand for

Just don't lose yourself

In this mind trick you play (mind trick you play)

It's only when you watching it

That you gonna know where it stays

If only you could go back to the start

Well you're dreaming dreams instead

So it'll be alright, Yeah

Don't you know you're dreaming dreams instead

Yeah you know you're dreaming in your head

Maybe if you woke up out your bed

You won't know who you thought you were

'Cause you gotta make the time to keep on keepin' on
