In A Tavern Lyrics

Pazuzu In A Tavern

A stallion and a rider proud
came across the land.
A freelance hero from the west,
into our land he rode.
No beast he feared
for strong he was,
his arms like mighty hammers.
Knowing all the ways of war,
a man of steel he was.
By dusk his day
he reached our town,
weary was his horse.
He stepped in through the tavern door,
a man of proud descend.
Unto a many maids he rode,
the ale and beer now flowed.
Envy in the others' eyes,
with daggers they approached.
The crowd now cheered,
for rough it was
when fists and feet were flying.
Rumbling round on the tavern floor,
the raiders were now dead.
By dawn next day
no one had seen,
where the man had gone to.
All the maids that looked for him,
were left a broken heart.
