On the darkest night
There was a point of light
It was a star to guide
The wise men from a-far
They came to see a newborn babe
In his mother's arms
They came for the love of a child
In the arms of a mother
The babe was safe

Blessed from that star above
And as the star shared it's light
The love shown bright
A mother's love of her child

Filled the hearts of everyone
And I am smiling here today
Because I feel the same way
As the mom of Jesus Christ
Who came to help us save
All that is wise and good
And worth while
So now it Christmas
We celebrate
By giving and sharing
A smiling face
To every person we pass
Try to make it last

'Bout Santa Claus
Eight tiny reindeer
The sleigh they draw
Filled with presents
For boys and girls
Delivered thru chimneys
And in a whirl
The magic happens - peace on earth
And all because of a baby's birth
A mother's love for baby loved,
A point of light far above
That guided the wise men to that child
