Fire catches and warms the room
I sit and watch the fire
The snow has started falling,
But I'm warm inside
And when dark thoughts cloud my mind,
I change those thoughts to you

Makes me leave the dark behind
And I am warm in the winter
With the snow falling down
Thoughts of you clothe me
In the warmest wrap there is around
Big white flakes cover the ground
And never make a sound
Love keeps me warm
While the snow is comin' down
The dog stands by the window
Nose pressed against the glass
Wants to go out and play
While the big flakes last
And my heart smiles at the sight of her
She just wants to play
For dogs and kids,
God made a snowy day.
