Waiting for your call, it's past midnight. the blankets cold on your side. these words i'm writting down are medication now each word heals me. i can't seem to fall asleep without you next to me. we said goodbye, held you one last time. how we felt inside. the look in your eyes when we said goodbye never leaves my mind. my eyes are closed. my lungs breathe in, then hold. exhale all of the fear of you not being here, i'll pray for you. i'll try my best to sleep without you next to me. i want to tell you when i get the chance that i miss you if i haven't yet. without you here i'm such a mess. and all i can do is wait here for you. i'm waiting again, waiting again and again
