Though we are not bound by blood

A welcoming presence brings a clarity that I have come to know as my saving grace
I want to go through life and see this world with eyes unclouded by hate

See the sparrows with the vulture hearts
Up above they survey the ground for those who have lost their way
But we are eagles and I implore you to ask not the sparrow how an eagle soars
I don't care about your history
It doesn't matter anymore

Every one a stone in a landslide
Piling up at the bottom
