Radiant Sun Lyrics

I worship no one but the radiant sun
Which stirs me from bed, helps me get some things done
It places its kiss on me and leaves a mark
But I'd rather have that than be left in the dark

I know the moon is your lover, it seems
Reflects thoughts just of you while it sits there and dreams
Casting your likeness in a perfect sphere
For a second, I almost thought that you were here

Radiant sun
Radiant sun

What will we do when your shining is done?
All I can say is that you've made me love
All of those heavenly bodies above

And if I ever end up just like Marie Curie
Well, I'll never blame you for what happens to me
And if you'll be tried for your radiant years
I don't know where they'll find a jury of your peers

Radiant sun
Radiant sun

What will we do when your shining is done?
All I can say is that you've made me love
All of those heavenly bodies above
