maybe think a little less short term
I've got enough going on in my life- & I don't want to

I'm sorry that you were not the teacher's pet
I'm sorry about the things you haven't accomplished yet
I'm sorry that life is so hard for you
But it's not my problem
So maybe you've got issues
But then who doesn't, it's the in thing
& maybe we'll miss you
when the new guy comes in next spring
& maybe we won't I don't
expect that you'd be sorely missed
& maybe you should phone home
& tell him that your therapist was wrong
Anything that you might do
Might just get misunderstood
& even then when you try to
tell us everything is all good
