Mock Orange Make Friends
Been occupying my place in line with say hey I can't use
this saying I don't have have to talk about my ways.
Now I know I can't move slow I knew the sign said go when
I heard two people standing around laughing about how
cold it is out.
And where the coats for the girls went. We all should
pace ourselves.
Notice the smallest types we walk right by because the
time is flying a million miles.
Make friends with time. You don't know what you'll be
without. When is it old. You don't know.
Sun occupying my place in line with heat stroke close to
my head and I'm fine as long as I keep my mind.
As long as life don't pass me by until I'm ready to die.
When I'm in town, my face turns down most of the good
times and all the places we could go. We should go.
Place ourselves into the tallest town that we can find
because the time is running a million miles.
Down on my luck, I could hardly see without the sun
coming up.
Stay all day. You couldn't make me move. Couldn't make me
smile.
Watching the sun go down through the crack in the window.
And I'm watching the sun go down to the deep end of the
basement.
Seashore close to my head and I'm lying if I said I was
crying.
Now I know I'm ready to go. I'm gone.
