I been treading this path my feet are tired, sometimes low and
uninspired, this wind blows cold and just gets colder, I hope I’m wiser I
know I’m older.
But I’m getten closer, closer to the light, and I know it’s right, yes I do,
and I know it’s true.
I walk the night across the moon, midnight’s trouble will be over soon,
the light is rising in the east, soon the morning will be released.
And I’m getten closer, closer to the light, and I know it’s right, yes I do,

My feet will get me there in time, and if they don’t I don’t mind, just
moving closer that’s enough for me, just becoming what I’m meant to be.
