The snow came in a big white blanket.
It covered up some of the memories.
I had come home to recover.
The snow can be so cold sometimes.
It falls from the sky, so hopelessly.
And a feel the loneliness in the snowflakes.
It makes things further out of reach.
It only makes things colder, so much colder.
Things are so much colder now.
Staring through the flames in the fireplace.
I can see my mother in me.
And I think of how I never turned out the right way.
It is so sad to watch the movie played in reverse.
