i turned all the lights off
and tried to find my way around,
i stuffed my ears with cotton
so i couldn't hear a sound
i covered my mouth with tape
so i wouldn't scream for help
i had to prove to everyone
i could do this by myself
but i asked some friends to come along
to see if we could work it out
we sweat and slaved and with all we gave
this is all that came out
a highwire act with acrobats
and no safety net
keep your eyes wide open
'cause you ain't seen nothin' yet.
