Life Long Tragedy This Feels Right
If this world doesn’t take your hand, it will only knock
you down.
If you won’t pick yourself up, maybe you don’t belong on
your feet.
I had to learn this the hard way, and I’ll never be the
same.
For every sleepless night kept up by thoughts of better
things, I can name a million better memories.
Death is certain, and that’s for sure. It’s up to us what
happens before. x2
One day not too far from now, this is gonna have to end.
I will not just sit around, and ask where my life went.
Recite your memories. Hold on to your friends. Cling to
the times you shared. Love what you did. x2
And with every passing day, we’re throwing up our fists.
