Heal The Knives
Dancing sculptures swaying,
Neon headlines straying.
Present structures breaking,
Lasting walls decaying.
Even though we watch us fall,
I guess our eyes are only used.
Though blinded by eternal lights
Joint ignorance is no excuse.
The warning signs are left behind,
The golden thoughts are lies.
A million steps sound uniform,
Close to death we come to life.
Did I forget what I expect
This wasted time and space to be?
A feeling that creeps up on me:
Our life’s so beautiful!
My life’s so beautiful!
So beautiful
But I can’t see!
Just heal the knives,
They lead to wounds!
Just heal the knives
And make them fail!
