Lemon Demon Being Alone On Valentine's Day
Being alone on Valentine's day doesn't bother me.
Normally, I don't exude lugubriosity...
but this year I am curious what it's like to feel blue.
Though it may be spurious, I've got nothing else to do.
And I'm gonna shed tear after tear.
Not that I'm a lonely guy,
but Valentine's comes but once a year.
I might as well give it a try.
I'll partake in all the weeping whims that I can find,
maybe watch Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind,
or dress all grim and gruesome
and drive until I'm ill;
watch the happy twosomes
whom, if I were truly lonely, I would probably want to
kill.
