The Darkest Moment (is Just Before The Light Of Day) Lyrics

[Verse 1]
You may get down hearted
Sad or blue
Or get foolish notions
That I don't love you
Things may go wrong
When I'm away
But the darkest moment is just before the light of day

[Chorus]
'Cause I love you, love you and I always will
And I'll take care of you
As long as I live
So if you get disgusted
Remember and say
That the darkest moment is just before the light of day

[Instrumental Break]

[Verse 2]
Now if you should think
I didn't love you on sight
Well you're a thousand miles, honey, from bein' right
You don't have to worry
'Bout my love for you
'Cause you're my everything, my sunshinе skies of blue

[Chorus]
'Cause I lovе you, love you and I always will
And I'll take care of you
As long as I live
If there's trouble sometimes
It's good to know and to stay
That the darkest moment is just before the light of day
